DevRant is the best. I just gave Imgur another try. It still makes me depressed and loose faith in humanity. All those stupid people. DevRant is much better. Here we have smart people that know how to approach problems and understand jokes.

I still wait for a moment when a bunch or retarded trolls come and ruin it. Just as everything before.

@dfox this is an important point. Without moderation squad or somekind of proper selfmoderation algo (not the downvote brigade) its just a matter of time before the trolls move in and platform starts loosing users.

This a huge difference between devRant and communities like Twitter, Imgur and Reddit. Those are all "everything for everyone." They have no specific audience which also makes them a nightmare to moderate and police. On the other hand, devRant is quite targeted so I thinks it's exponentially easier to moderate.

We have a bunch of automated things built in and we also do some manual moderation, of course. This will all continue to be built out but even as the app scales I can't see it ever being as problematic as the complex situations that arise in "everything for everyone" apps.
