FUCKING WINDOWS DECIDES TO UPDATE WHEN I HAVE 6 PROGRAMS OPEN AND NOT EVEN SAVED EVERYTHING.

10+ chrome tabs with research pages that are irrecoverable.

That when I leave for a couple of minutes to take a brake. I'm not even notified beforehand.

I'm fine tho which is nice. Gonna cry and sleep now to work hard again tomorrow.

Ctl + shift + t to open all the tabs back, or use history to find them again?

@dewguzzler yeah, but it's not the only problem, I had atom and putty open. Was editing a file on a server lol. I hate windows so much now. After that it got late so I didn't want to open my work again, otherwise I probably needed 10 mins to finish.

@Zeptinune Well thanks for the constructive feedback. I actually think it's relevant to rant about this subject.

@Zeptinune windows re-enables auto restart every update. The only way to fix it is to disable updates completely. Have fun with the crashing!

Just don't use Windows. Linux has some Windows Emulation Tools, so don't come with "The Software doesn't work on Linux" ;)

@Mitch377 every update adds new and interesting ways to break. The next fixes it. Hibernation BSOD, Graphics crashes, BT keyboard disconnects, Out of memory with 3GB left, Resetting desktop icon positions... I could do this all day :)

@Gatgeagent how reliable are those? I haven't had much luck with them in the past.

@Zeptinune yeah well that's devRANT, free to rant about experience. Things will get old soon enough. I think 15 upvotes proves people aren't tired of it yet.

@Zeptinune my hardware isn't nearly as new. Hibernation BSODs like 50% of the time.

@franga2000 I used them really much, but not only Wine. There are also some others projects on Github.
