    Use a cloud solution like Atlas?

    @SortOfTested you've actually saved me a lot of time there. Thank you!

    @asgs who says I have a choice?

    For save life, keep away from Mongo. LOL

    I'll be old and grey before flutter finishes 'Running Gradle task assembleDebug...'

    @NoMad the choice is always yours as to whether you want to work there or not. If you can't change others, change yourself unless you will be losing other benefits which might be more important than this annoyance

    @scorpionk don't even get me fucking started. Maven has been bitching since morning. 🀦🏻‍β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»‍♀️ 🀦🏻‍♀️

    @asgs It's not about where I work, it is about the fact that this project needs to get done. Not liking a project is different from liking one's workspace.

    Some people at least attempt to do unpleasant yet necessary things.

    @NoMad Never touched maven world.
    But heard so many things about how broken that ecosystem is.
    Is every application development sub - field is broken?
    JS on the web side...
    Native android on mobile application side..
    Anything else you guys can add?

    So, went with docker. But aside from the non-existent proper gui, (which, I know I'm being a Karen here, but you gotta be able to see your damn data occasionally) it is actually performing good for read and write of huge amount of small-ish documents.
    Not sure how it compares to stuff like Cassandra or ElasticSearch, but I wish someone would do a survey on them from a mid-range server POV.
