Rumor has it that Apple is ditching the startup chime.

Fuck you apple. In the name of innovation you have ruined yourself.

I once considered Apple to be a very innovative company. Not that full screen phones never existed before 2007, Apple brought it in a way that actually brought all other manufacturers along with it.

I may be wrong, but I always believe that Apple did certainly set the benchmarks. Not only in the tech world, but for me and many others, in the web design world as well. Until today, I test all my designs in all the iPhones, 4 and up.

My personal observation is that things changed after Steve Jobs died, it was pretty apparent when the iPhone 5 came out awful!

Many would consider Steve to be the brains of Apple. But we have all got to agree that he wasn't the only one, he may be the leader but he guided many 100s with him in the search for the perfect technology.

What happened to everyone else? Did everyone just loose their mind after the death of Steve? I used to love Apple. But in recent months, their idea of being innovative is being taken very loosely.

"This is not the company I built, there is no style, no taste" [Jobs the Movie] this quote although from the movie, is exactly what I hear Jobs saying if he ever was here.

    Apple is done.

Actually, someone discovered a way to enable the chime and disable the automatic startup when opening the lid, connecting to power etc. This seems to make the new "Pro" a tad more bearable...
