Prudent! I've worked for Lloyd's, jack Henry, HSBC, a small, highly technical capital firm and a mid level US bank that isn't even worth mentioning. HSBC was definitely the only good of the bunch, thanks to the Chinese tendency to get the fuck out of their own way.
Even so, I'm in no hurry to go anywhere near banks or finance ever again. There's a definite need to pwn your customer on a daily basis to get your job done.
