I been practising lucid dreaming since a few years. It works and is amazing. Now I'm trying to use this moment of subconscious awareness to improve my ideas when sleeping. Yes, I kinda want to work in my dreams, when my brain has other mechanisms active. Can tell you, looks like it is possible!

Your thoughts???

I've lucid dreams for years now.
But the problem is I can do anything but actual realistic programming.

It's kind of difficult to do anything in a lucid dream that requires you to keep stuff in mind for an extended period of time. Not only are you more prone to getting distracted than when awake, but you also can't write anything down (I mean, you can, but do try and read it a few times over and tell me if what's written stays the same). That being said, I have lucid-dreamt the solution to a programming problem once before.

@Eddydpyl that's what I mean. Not write code or specs, but figure out ideas, solutions, innovate, etc.

@gosubinit that's also something I sometimes do... only try to think of something when you're not thinking of it 😉

I am trying to recognize something in my dream which has to trigger me. This is something you have to train while being awake.

For example: I quite often dream of archery (don't know why). So when I'm awake I try to think of archery AND solutions to associate them.
