So anyone else has thoughts about Google and Facebook taking a stand against "fake news" online?

I mean obviously we could all do with a little less nonsense in our feeds, but where do we draw the line until this becomes 'censorship'.

    I wouldn't blame them. I'd blame the people that make them take action. How hard is it to not post fake shit online?

    @ScribeOfGoD good luck getting them out of the business without censorship. We need a way to educate people to be able to understand that Clinton's emails do not have 7 clues as to why she is the Antichrist, and that you won't believe the fifth one because it's utter nonsense.

    Frankly I do not care in the least, it is their software let them do what they want, I know where to find the news if I want. In my opinion that movie idiocracy is exactly the right word for our day and age, it truly is the rise of the apes.
