Such a stressful night.

Laptop's battery seems to have died.

Why? Whyyyyyyyyy? Why? 😭😭😭😭

Why me? Why now? Why these stuff always happen at the worst times?

By the time you get out of quarantine coming home, you'd have a new battery.

@C0D4 we're out of quarantine, technically.
You guys are under stage 4 lock down till mid-October tho.

@NoMad well.. mid some point in the future πŸ˜”that'll probably get extended again.

@C0D4 nah, herd immunity will kick in eventually.

@NoMad i think we are passed the point of trying that theory out. Danny boi is more likely to keep us locked down for more months while this thing dies off over opening everything back up again and letting nature take its toll.

I'm with you bro. Sometimes shit hits in the fan. In the worst moment. But you must be stronger than that :3

My 3 years old HDD's boot sector got corrupted few days ago. Can't boot my pc. Tried each and every solution. Nothing worked.

Did live boot ubuntu. HDD detected. Copied imp files and ordered new SSD for fresh windows installation.

And what's the problem? You can continue working if you are connected to the power, isn't it?

Hm, when would you say is a good time for the battery to die though ?

@C0D4 well, Andrews has a point. But idk, Australia loves to enforce every law by injecting it to people's butts (translation: they are anal when it comes to law enforcement and always try to intimidate everyone into submission. Of the top 20 reasons why I don't want to come back) which often has the opposite effect, meaning that people will stop giving a flying fuck.
And that is how we're here. I half expected this since February. But at least they're trying to save old folks and people with pre-existing conditions.

@raulqf can I? I'm sure some apps still overuse power and battery at the same time so idk.

@dder when I'm not already running short on cash and trying to finish this damn degree.

@NoMad I don't think so. My battery crashed the first year and I use to work with laptop's GPU to build DL models or make predictions with already trained models.
