Anonymous rants!

Let me explain, many people here have chosen meaningless usernames to them, to be completely anonymous, many others didn't... For example if you Google Etrunon I guess that you'll find me in less than 5 minutes...

So I believe that this may lead to less and less hateful, frustrated and liberating rants. Mainly because of three reasons: fear to be discovered from the outside(boss, etc) , fear to be discovered inside (colleagues or friends invited here) and the latter is the community building aspect of this app.

So what I am asking (knowing that should be a lot eheh) is the capability to post new rants either signed or anonymous... This to prevent being discovered let us having rewarding rants to read while on the same hand being able to connect and getting in touch a little bit with each other :)

    As long as the report feature works well and the post still tied to the account this sounds great.

    This would be useful for reporting etc.

    I like this idea, but I think that it is important that comments don't become anonymous for the rant, this is because people can be complete dicks when they know what they say won't have any repercussions, look at 4chan for example.

    @JakeHL i wouldn make this Anonymous but rather just hide the username.

    Nono sorry I meant that only the author is anonymous (otherwise we risk the bad part of internet)

    And it is still bound to the account, so that you can see your anonymous rants in the same section of the other in your profile.

    I just wanted to say I like this idea and I think it could work in tandem with the anonymous post idea. Ha.

    I believe this would be a great idea, I mean the point of this site is to "rant" whether that's about clients, your boss etc.

    Imagine if you go home, rant about a client/boss and they find your account on here, find out you ranted about them, goodbye client/job...

    Wouldnt it make more sense to just request a username change?

    Lot less work and none of the downsides of having an anonymous community.
