Today after the week and a lesson time in an high-school I got back home and decided to play some sacred 2

I had already installed some mods on it given that I have already finished it years ago and I wanted some challenge.

It ends up that the mods add too much difficulty, so I open up the configuration files of the mod (some sort of Lua tables) and then spend like an hour and half doing some reverse engineering on it to find a middle way between the vanilla and the Uber difficult mod

Anonymous rants!

Let me explain, many people here have chosen meaningless usernames to them, to be completely anonymous, many others didn't... For example if you Google Etrunon I guess that you'll find me in less than 5 minutes...

So I believe that this may lead to less and less hateful, frustrated and liberating rants. Mainly because of three reasons: fear to be discovered from the outside(boss, etc) , fear to be discovered inside (colleagues or friends invited here) and the latter is the community building aspect of this app.

So what I am asking (knowing that should be a lot eheh) is the capability to post new rants either signed or anonymous... This to prevent being discovered let us having rewarding rants to read while on the same hand being able to connect and getting in touch a little bit with each other :)

Some years ago we had to do a web project as group. It was a cinema like website with backend and front-end.

So in the end we arrived at the presentation and while scrolling the code I found commented out some authentication controls 😅😆 (probably for debug reason lol)
Whatever, meanwhile, while I was talking with the professor two of my mates were whispering... Turns out they found what he mail service wasn't working. And what's best than fix it, push it to the Heroku server and restart all? XD
The professor noticed some little lag in a button and asked "what's happening?"
"oh, nothing we just restarted the server "

I have done some work as intern I have done some work. I didn't have a contract though and one month ago I wanted to go away to give more time to my studies.

Now they ask me to write a brief documentation to explain how to use what I have done.

Since I have no hope to receive money and I just want to make sure they don't come back asking me things or blaming me about the implementation I thought to release with "The Unlicense" license...

What do you think?

I am quite worried about the approach users have towards technology...

I am starting now to work to my bachelor thesis research in algorithm, so I'm still very young.
But when I think about which mental process guides people when they use or try to fix their pcs is very worrying...
I mean I am no mechanical engineer but I don't pretend to know perfectly how an engine works. But I try anyway to understand it the best as I can...

Instead I see users that don't try to know at all our products... People (and not only elderly) which think that Facebook and Internet is the same thing, people that think that you can find anything one the net, while I found myself stuck many times in the middle of a research for something...

I had a course in human computer interaction... And I see the point of simplifying the user experience... But I fear that it will be soon to much :s
