So the teacher made fun of me today stating that knowing what USB stands for is pointless :/ I thought it was just basic knowledge for a geek like me. This statement of my teacher really infuriates me!!!

Well knowing what USB means is pretty useless per se, but it shows that you are curious about your world and THAT is the best quality someone can have. No one should be mocked for his knowledge (especially by a teacher), because curiosity it's what pushes innovation and advancement. Stay curious friend and remember, knowledge is power

@MrDhont well good luck with that, but take care, in my experience teachers are not so prone to admit their wrongs to a student (especially in front of other students)

Our very life is useless, in a 1000 years every trace of our existence will be gone. So nothing we can do matters. The things we see as important we labeled so our selfs. Or in most cases someone els for us. Like the importance of a career. Personally i have decided i want to dedicate my life to learning and self improvement. And enjoying the experience. So in my book knowing what usb stands for is time well spend. :)

Looks like he made a hobby of bringing down people, I guess I'll just accept his way of teaching then
