Been wanting to move away from my current job to tech for a few years now, but I've been stuck in this so called tutorial hell for a long time, how would one advance from this?

Build something outside a tutorial.

Books and experimentation. Experimentation and books. Read constantly, experiment constanter.

Stop opening tutorials and build something. I'm not talking a giant program, something useful for yourself to begin with, and don't copy/paste.

Like the others said, stop with the tutorials and try to do something completely on your own. IMO that's the best way to learn. If you're stuck try reading documentation instead of watching tutorials, it's faster, more in-depth, and there's way more content.
