I have been trying to root my techno phantom phone for 5 hours now. How hard do they make them?

    As difficult as possible so you’re dependent upon them for OS and security updates. It’s planned obsolescence: no updates means people will buy a new phone sooner, therefore increasing potential profits from repeat sales. The more phone manufacturers that do this, the more profits they collectively make.

    They also get kickbacks from their uninstallable bloatware/spyware, e.g. Facebook.

    @Root I don't think that's the case with this one, besides the fact I had to see what a techno phone was 😯bloody android no name brands are infinite these days.

    Can't you just use Magisk and a patched firmware - granted you can find one for that.
