    @sry9681 you have to enable developer mode on windows 10 and enable it at windows features

    @sry9681
    Enable dev mode on Windows 10
    Go to add and remove features and click the windows subsystem for Linux
    Type bash in cmd/powershell

    The only comment I have so far is that, Apache and IIS cannot share port 80.
    But still, not bad if you need to test stuff in Ubuntu.

    @bakablah
    Nothing can share ports, that's not a fault of Ubuntu on Windows

    Since I reinstalled that bash a time I can't access Internet with it anymore

    @Scrumplex this problem can be removed by using a file named compat wireless

    Its released now. I don't have dev moved and I have it installed. Maybe it was in one of those updates people always complain about ;)

    Gotta say I'm not a fan of it. Cygwin integrates better with Windows than this "official" solution :/

    @kong cygwin emulates a posix environment. Windows subsystem for Linux implements posix on the Windows kernel and install the ubuntu userspace.

    @ponchoalv Yeah I know the difference.

    Maybe it's just me -- with Ubuntu on Windows bash I feel like I am working on two different OSes. But with Cygwin bash I feel like it's actually a part of Windows.
