@RememberMe close, but actually ocaml mixed the two way earlier, just with an ml syntax instead of a c syntax

@yellow-dog I know, but Scala is more mainstream so eh. It's a joke page anyway.

Tbh I'm not too fond of object syntax in OCaml/F# either but it does make a few things more pleasant.

@RememberMe i like the versatility. Fp is not the silver knife that should be used for everything, even though i highly prefer that. I use oo for representing data and fp for dealing with data, and its great to have the option to do both.

- Spark, distributed computing engine. A lot of projects using spark are done with Scala

@Yggdrasil they call it "advanced programming". Already had a functional programming class so I guess this is more to understand things like streams and such.
