Can we clear this once and for all... Explain java and JavaScript like this...

They are like apple and pineapple...

In a recipe you wouldn't go yeah I could substitute in the other ... Because they are entirely different things ... Similar names... Entirely different !

We get it... They are different fucktards don't ... We get it... Ok....

What about in a fruit salad? I can make that with (Pine)apples.

@IainVM wouldn't that just be a Java app that happens to have a website as well .. so you use both 😂

Genuinely thought you were going in the PPAP direction with this

@Maude I have a Java app, I have JavaScript app, hmmmm...

One thing more apple and pineapple still have similarity they are fruite only flavor differs , but javascript is mostly used for front end and java is total backend language.

@rehman wait what? Since when is java a complete backend language?
If java is a backend language, so is JavaScript...

@rehman java and JavaScript can do similar jobs they are both. Very complete languages

You just choose not to generally for different circumstances.

Apple and pineaaple ... They are both a food now there are circumstances you wouldn't use one but you could because they have different flavours
But you could use the other and it be ok

I think the metaphor fits perfectly
