    Ehhhm. Excuse me sir @sadransh, Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior, DuckDuckGo?

    @N00bPancakes @beleg i changed my default for a while ago to Duckduckgo. After weeks I found myself trying the same quary on google and getting better results. So I switched back to google. Think google team should go on a couple of internships and learn from guys at duckduckgo.

    @sadransh yeah I've been switching back and forth.

    They tried it in the app, it looks shit, I think it's better in light mode

    @theabbie i think dark app is better than nothing. And if the design in app is not good. It's the problem of designer not the dark mode. Just checkout duckduckgo result in darkmode. It's perfect!! body

    @sadransh In my opinion, Dark mode is just not suitable for search engines, You don't spend too much time on it, so, it's not actually needed, Otherwise, you are free to make your own theme

    @sadransh Comparison

    @theabbie thnks for comparison. It's more about user preference I think and the option should have been placed by now. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    With a good approximation, I often predict which queries are meant to be googled, for which DDG's bang commands come in handy.

    It's usually when I need google's language abilities, like when I doubt the exact word, or looking for similar concepts. DDG is also trash in my mother tongue (which is yours too i guess?) But for technical stuff, DDG does the job.

    @sadransh Given that it's so easy to implement and they haven't implemented it yet, it's evident they are not willing to do so, Hope it's not so.

    @beleg i've never tried mother tongue on ddg. In terms of thechnical i did not get good results so my word choice might be the reason

    The app on Android is now also in dark mode. Was the bright star that fucked me up in the evening for a long time though
