Everyone and their mother has a JavaScript framework and the NEWEST cool npm module you're an idiot for not using.

It's like musicians and gear acquisition syndrome, coders love to have new stuff even if it's over-engineered, already exists, or redundant.

Hate dealing with tech hipsters 🙄 is nothing tried and true anymore?

    My favourite JavaScript framework is vanilla.js - it is included in every browser! ;)

    JavaScript was never tried and true. Full of browser inconsistencies and all that. Oh ya, and node's core philosophy is to leave a lot of functionality up to the community. There's a lot of wheel inventing going on.
