    It's funny to me, because no one at AWS has any certs at all 😆

    @SortOfTested Well .. 😂 ..
    As I finally got into a company.. I would probably try to get those certs very soon 😂

    They give you a title and that’s enough to make you happy... How blessed you are.

    @SortOfTested can you link me? Because that's impossible

    I worked there, and neither I nor any of my colleagues had certifications of any kind outside of degrees.* It would be rather pointless to ask someone to be certified on the public interface of a system they're on the product team for.

    *One guy had an MCA from another employer. He confirmed my suspicion that if they pay the $25k to take the exam, it's a no fail sort of thing.

    @SortOfTested because trust me i was in a panic mode if i should get my certifications or not.

    So as per your suggestion its just a show off nothing more.

    @Mb3leb
    It definitely is, the tests are pointless for testing real skill. Their value depends on the market you're in. If you're in India for example, everything is about paper and bullshit qualification. If you're working support, you're also going to be expected to have them.

    Just saying at the top end they become unimportant compared to your record.
