Just saw an upwork job post that said

"Apply if you're looking to build your profile and gain experience and not work for money"

the sad part is that somewhere some overly qualified people will fall for crap like this

"Sir your credit card just declined"

"But my job payed me in exposure! Surely that counts for something!"

Upwork seems like a terrible place.

Well, I like working for intangibles if I'm freelancing outside regular work (the one thay pays).

Last week I worked 10 hours for mere $40 and created a complete API with docs for a nice company because I liked the idea they are working on.
