I am building a mobile site using flexbox. A senior dev came running to tell me that we need to support IE. Looked at him and said, "IT'S MOBILE!"

    I dont even remember the last time when I used floats. IE has had some kind of flex support since version 10. So you can actually use it safely unless you need to support that 0.2% of users still torturing themselves.

    @ddrjm it's supported by almost anything after internet explorer 10. And I can't use it in my uni project. Because "it needs to run on as much browsers as possible" :(

    We had the policy that ie8 and newer has to be supported. We still made the website with flexbox. (Well the frontend guy did) Worked out like a charm after some nasty fixes. In the meanwhile we dropped support for ie8 & 9.
