Being awoken at 4am cos Devrant uses the vibration feature and the Motorola nexus 6 vibration motor sounds like a pneumatic drill going off...

Please add a feature in app to turn off vibration. Devs need sleep as well as coffee

You can actually mute specific rants. It would be cool to just have a general mute button though, I guess

DND is an option, but I do like leaving certain apps able to wake me. In case there's a work emergency or something.

Wow guess my 4 am rants do not qualify as a wake up call 😊

I'm in the UK, I imagine there's a huge number of devs in the USA and the time difference does mean I get disturbed.

I will read the rants, I will laugh, but not at 4am. 4am is time reserved for other things, like waiting for update servers to free up a little so I can get a release within the first 24 hours...

We're going to be adding global notification settings very soon!

@dfox Awesome, it's not a complaint of course, it would be somewhat hypocritical to vent about developers, developing a platform for developers to vent about developing.

It all gets a bit too meta at that point...

@nmunro haha :) but yeah, we definitely understand and want to give more customization around notifs in general, and also probably some aggregation. At this point we have a lot of stuff to improve notifications on the roadmap so it's just a matter of finding time to do it!
