    Of course, why not?

    If you put a videogame-ml-cuda-clusterfuck on a website it heavily depends on your system.

    @nitwhiz Website != webApp.

    @Lexter Well guess what, most websites you visit on a daily basis are actually web apps, even if you only care about some static content

    @Lexter wtf how do you even differenciate that.

    @hitko Nope, thay are called apps just because somebody want to be fancy.

    There is not minimum network requirements, so I guess I can use that website with a 56 kbps connection. 😃

    @Lexter If it has logic (which a website can have, even just link clicks), it's a web application which means it's an application and the shortcut for application is...

    App!

    A modern website is an application. The browser is mostly an interpreter. Don't like it? Want to noscript with a 128k memory foot print? Build it and steal all the traffic.

    But I prefer to make real applications that does not have to communicate with the server just because someone clicked a local link.

    Websites are not glorified poster displays anymore. But luckily, you have the power of choice. Just don't use them. Steal their revenue by doing that.
