When you press CTRL C instead of CTRL V and lose the line you just copied

    CTRL + X, CTRL + C, *dammit!*, CTRL + Z, *search for lines to cut*, CTRL + X, CTRL + V

    Sometimes feels like input an old-school cheatcode ^^

    @franga2000 hmm touché. But mine empties after a restart, so I've got nothing (or perhaps not as much) to worry about.

    FWIW some IDE's come with clipboard managers that only copy from their own program :)

    @kerrermanisNL mine does too, but I always hibernate and forget to clear.
    I never thought to look for one that works inside the IDE. Thanks.

    that's why we use Clipboard Manager, CopyQ for linux, don't know what is there for Windows.
    and Android studio has got a built in Clipboard manager.
