My supervisor from an internship last summer had a vacation planned for 6 months, and mentioned it all the time, and the week before he left they said they were going to release a huge update for a client the day before he left. Needless to say, it went horribly and my supervisor was not there to fix anything. Funny how that works...

Once deployed a patch on Christmas Eve... Saved Christmas. Nobody cared.
