Passive aggressive commit notes should be mandatory, such a good stress reliever and conversation starter.

For example:

git commit -m "Customer knows best so making text blue on a blue background as per their request"

git commit -m "Reverting web developers stupid mistake of making blue text on blue background. Silly developer for having that idea."
