My grandfather just came over for christmas eve and asked me what this devRant thing I was looking at was.

I told him it was facebook but for programmers 😆

    I use to explain devRant as Twitter for programmers. Because there is just posts with comments that you can tag.
    Facebook has a lot more stuff going on that is more complicated to explain.

    If you look at the amount of memes on devRant it's more like 9gag for devs

    I explained it as "A social network exclusive for programmers" ( when laughing aloud for some joke that nobody understood)
