I bit off more than I could chew with this project... Of course, it's my own fault since it's MY idea. Why would I do this???

    What are you struggling with?

    @tizo The realization that I know almost nothing about node but decided to build an app in node two months ago. I've always jumped right in with dev stuff, but I'm out of my element here. Two months, and I've got a full mockup, a comparatively small amount of functional code, and a chronic migraine.

    Oh dang. Not real versed in node.js otherwise I'd try to help.

    @tizo Me neither... that's the problem :P

    Guess just take it one problem at a time. You're never going to learn node.js all at once so pick an issue and research. Best advice I could give. Not that you asked.

    @tizo Didn't not ask either... It's good advice, but that's what I've been trying to do. It's super slow progress.

    I did something similar this past semester. Group had no experience with Node and I had a little, but I started the project with it since nobody else was doing anything. I ended up doing the entire project. It was extremely tough but a great learning experience.

    @jlave215 how long did it take and did you have any past dev experience

    @ghost1227 Had been working with Node for about a month. I was able to learn enough of the Express package in a week to build most of the application. But it was a process of constantly learning better ways to do things and refactoring. Altogether the site was usable in three months

    I'm about to make the same mistake, but with angular 2. Haha

    @j-dev-o hope you have better luck than I've had!

    @ghost1227

    @j-dev-o I've gotten so stressed over it I've actually considered trying to hire someone out of pocket to help >_<

    @ghost1227 I'm doing with a friend so if we get screwed we do it together hahahah
