    For your next project? To learn more about? Just trying to put users against each other? =p also, why not MEAN? Keep in mind, none of these are really mutually exclusive at this point. (You can run MySQL on Win/Lin, same for PHP, and you can run .NET on Linux hosting now as well.

    I think at this point, everyone gets the idea of "use the best tool for the job, given the constraints you have to work within."

    If you're trying to pick a stack to learn more about, learn more than one.

    Also, you'll find a lot of smaller companies/environments go the LAMP/MEAN route, whereas lots of enterprise and government clients lean towards .NET.

    I'm a LAMP developer or used to be that is very 2009... I was wondering what stack do people prefer. I'm starting to use. net due to my new job, but my background is LAMP.
