zshh38539yApple's trackpad are OK, they just released a new one which should be great from what I hear. I haven't tried a non-Apple trackpad in years but I remember how horrible they were 5 years ago.

Bastian2179yI have been using the trackpad on my MacBook for a while and its pretty good imo.. even have the mouse and keyboard BT, but usually end up not using it..
its all preference i guess 😉 -
@Bastian Are there any advantages to using a trackpad over a mouse? Apple do those trackpad things for desktop just wondering if it might be a good thing with practice. The trackpad on my shitty pc laptop is abysmal, but am hoping to get a MacBook for when I'm out and not in front of my iMac. I'd really like to master the trackpad so just wondering.

as mentioned i think it is down to personal preference. As a side bonus the built in features for the trackpad on Mac is really great. My home pc is a Windows, and i wouldnt use trackpad for that over a mouse on that. -
dabalrvey109yI really enjoy Apple’s trackpads because they are big, feel very fluid and support a lot of gestures for OS X.

Thinkpad trackpads can be pretty good too. Overall I use a mouse if I can with anything though.
I just can't use a trackpad. I've tried many times, tweaked all the settings but always end up plugging in a mouse. Maybe it's because I is shit?
