How is being raised in a devs family?
Just think abouy it how they have those films about mafia families or police families, one day it could be dev families :D -

@rusty-hacker I have nothing to compare it to, so I wouldn't know 😉
I can tell you that I have had access to a computer from a very young age and was told that if I wanted a better computer I would have to update the one that was given to me 😊
I didn't start programming until I was in college, but it was awesome to have 25+ years of experience of help when stuck 😅
Know my father asks me for help when it concerns hardware and I bounce ideas of him when I'm stuck 😊
My mother is a complete noob when it concerns IT, so.... -

purged39439y@Folkmann This actually made me tear up.
My dad got me started programming in C when I was 9 years old. He worked as a Software Engineer at Intel for as long as I can remember. He was a genius!
He passed away when I was 13 years old, and today I am a Senior Software Architect.
I often think about how great it would be if he were still around to share nerdshit with.
Call me sappy, or a buzzkill, but cherish that shit! You have something really special and I am envious!

When you talk to other devs about what their code did. I also relate myself to this.

I just had a major breakthrough on a project 😊
Just standing there chatting with my dad (also a dev), while preparing for the new years feast, and got this amazing idea that I just had to try. 30 minutes later I'm done with the script and it works flawlessly 😊😅
