When you answer an email right away and a couple of days later they ask you if you received their email.

    This is deja vu.

    I have a customer that I run reports for around the middle of the month (they are "due" on the 20th). To generate the reports, data is collected from a bunch of API end points as well as XML data from other offices, which is never available until the 17th or so. Each month, around the 15th, this customer will send an email asking for status. And each month, I have to reply "it will be available by the 20th." This month, he sent his usual email to a different office, that forwarded to my group, and I replied right away. Two days later, he sends another follow up. Like WTF check your own email!!! 😡😩😖
