People are so cheap. I hear people say things like "Frontend Masters is too expensive." I'm pretty sure that I just got 2k of value in the last 3 hours... Maybe those people aren't 'cheap' per say - but more generally, don't understand the concept of value. I'm sure they see that attribute in their clients, but never themselves. Better for me I suppose!

Tech is definitely one of the industries where "you get what you pay for"

Fast and well done? Hire a senior but pay up

Well done but inexpensive? Hire a junior but expect him to take longer

Well done inexpensive and fast? Hire a junior and enjoy your garbage end result

I think the two out of three is a fallacy. I am pretty experienced dev, but I sometimes take longer to complete projects.

The one real difference between a junior and a senior person is that a senior person has seen and made more mistakes and knows what to do vs what not to do.

@viking8 Sometimes you have to name a business or a band or an app. I imagine that when the founder gathered together some 'masters' in the field of front-end development, and filmed their teachings - that he came up with the name 'front-end masters' to describe what the business is - and who is teaching it. I'm just glad it wasn't named 'ninja school.' Or something like that.
