Do you know there are some countries where . is used for thousand divider and , for decimals?
-
From Quora:
Countries that use a comma as decimal mark:
Albania, Belgium, Bosnia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latin Europe, Lithuania, Netherlands (for non-currency numbers), Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Netherlands (currency), Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland (handwriting). -
Bikonja23868y@lucas22 I love that croatia is not in that list (even though it uses comma as decimal separator). Fuck croatia!

@lucas22 and that's why I don't like living in Denmark as a developer sometimes xD

@SpeedyCate I guess it should be linked to the language of the text. If I write something in Portuguese (Brazil here) I use commas for decimals. Dots if it's English or code.
-
@lucas22 I'm not using commas that often, so I'm forgetting to switch when I have to use them instead :P
Someone just learned about decimals
