I don't want to brag, but in one of the larger cities in the area here, 100M is one of the higher speeds you get. I'm lucky to be one of those to have this connection speeds. But, if you live a bit outside of the bigger cities you're mostly outta luck. The houses and the roads are old and the carrieres/ISPs are just lazy dumbasses (at least i think so. Had my... "Experiences" with 'em). Mostly you do have copper underground with all it's capabilities and limitations. The only way to get fiber is to build your own house and hope that you are able to lay fiber at the last mile, or to be lucky and chosen by the carrier/ISP to get fiber. But things that are said and things that are done, are 2 different things. Trust me.

@Demolishun Nah, O2/Telefonica is the provider with the worst reputation here. I wouldn't have changed to them, but they bought my previous provider.

@Demolishun That's why I've never signed up for hostage style contracts (2 years minimum and shit). I can quit my ISP on a monthly basis. However, things are good, and cheaper than Telekom, so I've stayed with O2 for ten years already.

@Jilano yeah I think pCloud limits it's upload speed because I have 35Mbps upload and the only max I can get is 1.2Mbps lol. Wish I had researched more about pCloud. Damn that tempting lifetime deal. Well I hope that lifetime deal can last a minimum of 4 years 😂

@Devnergy starting from 5 € per month. In rural areas you might not get that speed with a physical connection but 100 Mbps unlimited mobile broadband can be had for less than 30 euros.
