You should be "out looking" for switching to Gmail.

@dontbeevil I mean, I'm using Outlook since late 2014. Earlier I've been using Yahoo and even earlier crappy mail from Polish website - Onet.pl (I mean seriously, they were sending you like 20 spam mails per week).

@slaat so because people here love something from google, and hates something from MS, can talk good about first and bad about the second... but if someone tell that he likes something from MS and doesn't like something from google, suddenly it's wrong. (same for linux/os x and Windows and so on...)

@athlon I'm using it since when it was hotmail, but since when was updated to outlook, simply WOW

    Gmail Masterrace

LOL I see some fans/haters bit hurt from our choice :)

@dontbeevil Yeah, same like Windows vs. Linux...

@dontbeevil, that's a nice idea. I like Gmail as a brand, I mean your.name@gmail.com looks somehow more professional than your.name@outlook.com, just because their relation with Google (still seen as nerdy) and Hotmail (seen as corny). But Outlook's interface is nicer.

@Eariel they'll need 10 more years to overcome the 90s stereotypes against MS and pro google and apple... but maybe in 10 years the things can change back again :)

@dontbeevil not if they keep producing shite software it wont.

@helloworld here there is another one, please tell me...if you used modern ms software or web services for more than 10 seconds :D

@dontbeevil the office suite, is a complete crock of shite. Namely, outlook, word and powerpoint. Shit, always has been and likely always will. Windows 8. Internet Explorer. Fuck i could go on...

@helloworld still interesting, how is shit? Can i have some more details? Or just because is from ms or because the problem is between the chair and the pc? In the latest years i had more problems with software, devices and web services from apple, google and linux than ms

@dontbeevil why are all your comments personal in nature? My comments are from experience with working with this software. I could write an essay on why everything i have mentioned is shite. But i cant be arsed. If you like it great, but stop trying to make out that i have never used it and that i have a dislike simply because it is Microsoft.

The problem is that if there is a rant pro Microsoft or against google (for example), many people has to comment like that's something impossible or against the world :)

@dontbeevil No it's okay that you like outlook and I do not judge you for it. I just don't get why you say that Gmail is a pain in the ass. Thus my "wut". But please, do elaborate

@slaat the main problem for me is the UI, the second that if you browse any of google website they show an annoying banner to switch to chrome that makes everything automagically "faster and better", the third problem is that they continuously break their support to windows apps (because they don't provide any) and MS browsers web services (even if the browser support all the pages web standards they on purpose show the dumb phone web version)...and to use Gmail with outlook, they don't provide any standard but to sync everything you need to download their add in

@dontbeevil Microsoft used to do the same to Apple back in the day, funny that.

@helloworld USED ... as I already said, things changes, in it really fast specially, get over it... I didn't like Ms in 90s, but now we're in 2017 if you didn't notice, should we be mad for 20/30 years old things? and why? to use other company services that now they're doing the same bad things that MS did? LOL

@dontbeevil okay well, since I mainly use Google products over ms, I never realised that. Thanks for the explanation.

    Whatever.

@linuxxx I just had to bing it to learn what's about ... and I see why, there is no Windows app

@dontbeevil Well, you could use the web interface but yeah you're right haha. Have been using that as main email for years now :)
