Am I the only one that seems to lose the capacity to type when a person comes next to me and starts looking at my screen? It's so frustrating.

Me too. I'm not able to code when someone stands behind me or look at my screen when I have to fix their bugs.

@cheke that wouldn't be a problem, then you're committed to a task... But on an unnoticed moment I get nervous like a squirrel with frozen nuts

Long back, I was working in a flight simulator project, and on a Friday afternoon was irritated by a short bald man in his 40s looking over my shoulder into my screen.
He left after 30 min, after having some discussion with my manager.

After he left, my manager told us that man was Rakesh Sharma, first and only Indian astronaut, and a retired test pilot with the airforce.

Rushed to get an autograph, but he had already left the building.

Yep, first time I did paired programming every second word I typed was gibberish. I got better, but still struggle a bit.

I start making typos at a pretty high rate while I can blind type without any errors for ages.... yeah I freaking hate that

I once typed "Please go away, I can't type with you looking." and it actually worked.
