First day of new job. No more rants about Blue Prism, that's in the past now. New year new me!

Time to go back to rant against backend developers and their fucking Laravel.

First lesson of the day: if I see another select2 I'm gonna commit war crimes. You see this nice plugin for jQuery, you use it everything's so cool and modern and you think you're the smart one of the team 'cause you don't know you've just polluted an otherwise perfectly fine web page with the dirtiest js shit you could possibly find, just because you didn't feel like searching one more minute for whatever replacement for a drop down you can easily find.

You're not the smart one. You're a criminal.

@rolexpo stay as far away from Blue Prism as you possibly can, and then some more. It's alienating, and even if it wasn't (it is) it's badly coded and unreliable. Can't count how many hours of sleep I've lost 'cause of scheduled processes not starting, machines going offline for god knows what reason, file editing with OleDB went wrong, browser navigation failing to perform randomly, and processes failing 'cause of random shitfucks updates on some website nobody ever mentioned.
One time I've got a catastrophic memory leak on SAP and it took 3 weeks just to get a call with the support and acknowledge it was in fact a problem, and an additional week to find a workaround. Blue Prim is by far the worst piece of software I have ever worked with.
