Its my birthday and people are asking me about the party and I wish I can tell them that I have a production bug to fix

It's your birthday. Happy birthday. I can pretend to be a passing client for you and call /text /tweet /blog post something to the effect of:

"PARTY LATER M LOSING MONEY AND NEED U NOW!!"

And you can go hide and work on a personal project. ;)

But if you really do have a bug to fix: tell them that what you want this year is to sleep soundly tonight so you'll have to cut it short bye thanks for coming.. If anyone is butt hurt maybe that's because they're making your party about themself.
