Is the source backed up anywhere in the infrastructure? If deleted can you use forensics to find it. May be out there. Let us know.

@mgard This project used an industrial PLC programming IDE called CODESYS which doesn't have a traditional Source Control like Visual Studios TFS. Had to start from scratch. :/

ricram3658ythere are decompilers for almost any language. so if you have the executable, it'll generate the source.

Developer who was working on a project for 7 weeks was fired and to spite the company he deletes all his source code for the project. As the only other dev, I was placed with the wonderful task to complete an 8 week program in 8 days.
