Why software aren't free!

Well, libre office is free...

@linuxxx and it sucks... Especially with RTL languages

Once you used latex once, you HATE MS-Word (actually, you hate EVERYTHING coming from MS) @Linuxxx

Bought Office instead of using libre or OpenOffice, works much better for my purposes.

WPS office is the best multi platform office around. It's like Microsoft Office for free.

As much as LibreOffice annoys me, at least it's free for real.

@linuxxx libre office is disgusting though, lacks so many basic features, ugly, spelling/grammar check is terrible, etc

@TheInitializer I simply can't agree. Have been using it since forever and it does everything (including the complex stuff) word does for me. It didn't look that beautiful but since the update to version 5.x it looks good. We use it throughout the whole enterprise. Even executing excel scripts/formulas works perfectly.

Just use Google Docs? I'm writing my BA in Docs right now and its pretty damn nice. Didn't add pictures by now, maybe this is a pain in the ass?

@chrome or office online, that's free and more compatible with office format files + there are the apps on all platforms (free editing for devices < 10")
