kunashe19688ySup fella - to reduce size, try reducing the dpi. You can shave off file size without seeing an appreciable loss in quality.

I am implementing it in a project where users should take photo and send them to a server.
Point being i am suppose to embed that feature on my project..... lemme look onto unveil.js -
Can't remember the url but check out the flickr dev blog - the latest post goes into this in some detail.
Any ideas of the best way or algorithm to reduce the photo size with small effect to the photo quality....
I find it necessary for reducing the traffic cost and time of uploading and downloading the image
