Should've traded in my pixel 2 for the 5g during Black Friday..... Main phone is a rooted OnePlus 6... Which specs wise and without the bloat ware still beats Pixel aside from the camera...

Apparently it's now impossible to hide root.... Which means for day to day use, have to use an unrooted phone....

Bought it anyway... Lost out on $200 though...

Then again I'm losing $400 a month for an apt in not living in at the moment...

And seems my portfolio made $600 on Friday... so guess used sometime else's money to buy it...

Ah trying to rationalize a random large purchase...

Omg you’re using and administering your own device? How dare you!? YOU’RE NO DIFFERENT THAN A CRIMINAL AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

Ikr. Sheesh. Companies these day. I have to unroot my phone myself. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to use my internet banking and e-money.

    Doesn't magiskhide work atm?

@electrineer it hides magisk itself but not root. The latest version at least no longer has the apps screen where u select which app to hide it from.

@donuts 21.4 still has it, manager version 8.0.7

There are also some additional modules for MagiskHide that you might need to pass some checks
