Recruiters. Recruiters everywhere. I know, I know, F# seems to be the new hot thing now that FP has gained popularity and every bleeding company is looking for one. Well guess what? You got to make a pretty darn good offer for me to jump ship, and no, I’m not going to make much of an effort myself. If you want me, you sell me the job. I’m not going to do the selling here. I’ll come to the interview, do a programming test if I must but I bloody sure won’t tailor you a fucking resume. Everything’s on LinkedIn and here, have a link to my gh acco. That should be enough. No? Well go fuck yourself!

I like that attitude. Very gilfoyal like. On another note, I’ve gotten no impression that f# jobs are booming. Now elixer, ya.

@dUcKtYpEd guess it must be regional. I’ve heard of no company in this neck of the woods using Elixir, while on the other hand I’m noticing a steep increase in F# openings. Seems to be replacing Scala and Haskell on the market at the moment.

@100110111 kinda been expecting Haskell and scale to fade at some point. F# and elixir are the next evolution of FP that everyone can kinda get their hands on. Out west elixirs growing a lot in demand. It’s being mentioned a lot even down south here. And for whatever reason, the pho laravel frameworks got a real hard on for it and had it integrated with its services. Personally other then C#, I’m trying to distance myself from Microsoft stack
