After using and learning programming with Python for two years and getting comfortable with the language's ins-and-outs, now it has come the time to learn my second language. I selected C++, and I am so glad I waited until I understood my first language before jumping into a new one because it was worth the time. Before, C++ looked intimidating, but now I see its beauty (reasonably strongly typed language). It took me some hours to understand the basics and ended the day making a simple Python-3 adapter using C++.
Side notes:
Maybe because I am a noob, I don't see why Rust is preferred over C++?
While I only plan to use C++ to speed heavy preprocessing tasks within Python projects - I was surprised to find no NLP libraries?4 -
I decided to learn Swift as I would like to make apps. So I installed swift and swift-jupyter in my Linux server after my 2012 iMac literally took 20 fucking minutes to compile `print("hello world")` in Playgrounds. Meanwhile, my server compiles python code in a swift jupyter notebook in seconds.

I believe my friend's Instagram account got hijacked. When I clicked on the provoking message - I get a prompt asking for my password. Has anyone seen this bullshit before?13

Graphs and clustering changed my perception of the world. I caught myself thinking of random shit in clusters and edges, and now I realized I have been doing this for a while.
•I caught myself thinking the following a few minutes ago:
While taking a shower, for unexplained reasons, I started visualizing different groups of friend’s throughout my life and how their connection/relationship to its group (centroid AKA leader) had a significant influence on how each individual behaved. After doing this for five groups - I proceeded to label them in classes of behaviors and noticed why each friend behaved a certain way. Wtf right? 😂4 -
