I've been waking up successfully for two weeks now at 6:30 am thanks to sleeping pills and Melatonin pills I'm taking 30 min. before bedtime.

I will change that to 6am starting today.

Yes, I'm sleeping 8 hours and a half, it feels great!.

    Don't keep taking melatonin. It will fuck up your ability to sleep with out. You will also start waking up in the middle of the night too (a few months in). Maybe use it to get into a good habit and then taper off. Also use the lowest dose available.

    @aviophile You start to wake up in the middle of the night. This is what happened to me. I had to get off the stuff. It took a few days of no sleep to get off. Now I occasionally use it for night I cannot shut down my brain.

    @Demolishun ah, funny, I've noticed that I wake up suddenly in the middle of the night

    but is hot here also, for some reason. Thus not sure what's waking me up.

    Stupid question: is that long or short for you? Or did you simply shift bedtime + wakeytime?

    @jkommeren 8 and a half is good enough for me, I feel rested, less than that and I feel sleepy. The pills help me fall asleep quicker.

    just a joke... does programming did that to you ? :D I love those nights when it's quiet and you can fully just do what you need to do in peace.

    Waking up early isn't a problem for me, but no matter the sleep early in the morning I am useful for nothing.

    Benadryl helps me out tremendously
