how can there be any usability issue in google search console that lighthouse did not warn about before?

Lighthouse is for performance related issues, Google search Console is for crawling related issues.

@theabbie sadly Google failed to make that distinction clear, as Lighthouse claims to audit not only page speed but accessibility, usability and SEO issues as well, even giving scores for the new vitals. Even worse, search console only tells me which URL was affected and leaves it to me which exact elements they found the issue on. Anyway, I am still both fascinated and annoyed at the same time, as both are really great and useful tools.
