Did git go back to using “master” instead of the new “main” as its default branch name? Because when you create a new repo on GitHub now, they explicitly ask you to rename the branch to “main”. I checked by doing ‘git status’ on a newly initialized repository and it still shows “on branch master”.

I would change it back to master, or if its more than a 1 liner command don't give a fuck at all

I don't think git ever changed to main. Only GitHub did.
