    Wordprocessors that use it to indicate good points for line breaks inside of longer words.

    AFAIK, you even can use this to insert the footprint of your authorship in any copied text from your site coded with these. Luckily, it doesn't stop anyone with proper text editor to cut "ZERO WIDTH SPACE" with few clicks.
