Question to you all, do you really think you own your computer or system/data when almost all sites/services out there state very clearly in there ELUA(Fuck yes ours) that they might use your data how they feel fit, now this does not stop with websites, Mac, Windows and some Linux Distros also do this.

I for one stop thinking that I own data but I just change a few bits to make it look different these days, everything on your computer is not yours, we its and hardware, read the ELUA/TOS many hold the right to recall, revoke and so on use of the items to the point you paid for it they will take it back.

Items now sending keylogs, data usage and apps usage data to MS, Apple, some big linux distro, and YES this happens don't fool yourself Apple and MS both admit this happen and both US and UK now requesting these companies to let the have full access to this data, if it was not there they wouldn't want it.

This wont stop me from messing with code and loving tech but do you really feel you own anything anymore?

I don't :P

@Artemix Two right, I agree there, we need to make it hard for them to use, steal at times or access our data without our permission.

I also try and make it hard for them to do this, but I also not blind to there tricks and know they will find loop holes all over the place as we know they left them there in the first place :)

Ownership of anything is an illusion anyway. You only own what you can protect.

    So, encryption helps sometimes :)

@plumbus sadly in the UK the government are trying to make that a thing of the past lol but you are so right its all illusion freedom its self is a illusion.

@Rexzooly what, encryption? They're in for a heck of a long battle.

@plumbus agreed but there trying to make it legal to spy on all digital communications and all viewable to them, this bill what is now in place it's UK law even if the EU say they can't use it I have a feeling the UK are going to not listen or hold of the 2 years we have left in the EU then just use it.

@Rexzooly same thing will happen that happened with guns. if encryption is outlawed only Outlaws will have encryption. They can view my encrypted data all they like

@plumbus Long as we have means to make i harder for them to see, encrytion and cryto, even when a message as been decrypted in to readable if it makes not sense for them, then its a win for us, plus it give them something real to do, cracking peoples crypt's is some peoples dark kinks lol
